Mission Statement

Ten years ago the Columbus International University modified the teaching of American Higher Education through distance learning programs by recognizing the realities and educational limitations existing globally (limited research facilities, cultural and religious factors, wars, etc.) and the realities and obligations of adults in the US. The final result after ten years of research and development in distance learning is the Columbus International University Online Higher Education Campus degree programs designed to satisfy the educational needs of working professionals, executives and mature students globally in the 21st century.

CIU developed the accelerated online higher education degree programs to provide academic credits for working professionals, executives and mature students for their work experience and specialized training, based on the guidelines of the American Council of Education and the Council of Adult Experiential Learning.

For the first time, thousands of working professionals, executives and mature students globally and in the US have a chance to be educated in current developments in their field, sharpen their communication skills, build self confidence and earn a reputable degree. We modified our degree programs to take into account the realities that exist in other parts of the world and the busy schedule of the American adults which is filled with responsibilities and little free time.

Today, the Columbus International University is a private global educational institution providing online higher education through a world class faculty to working professionals, executives and mature students globally.
