Welcome to the Columbus International University Online Higher Education Campus.
The Columbus International University Online Learning Higher Education Campus is a private, independent, non-traditional and non-resident online learning higher education provider, which offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Business & Management, Engineering & Applied Science, Liberal Arts, Creative Technologies & Science and Open Programs. The Columbus International University offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Degree programs in the above disciplines. In addition to the above disciplines, CIU specializes in designing custom Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree programs through its undergraduate and graduate school of open programs, for students who are interested in a specific area for which there may not yet be a ready curriculum.
In keeping our high standards and philosophy of service, CIU’s online learning higher education programs are structured in such a way as to provide the highest degree of flexibility for working professionals, executives and mature students. This flexibility by necessity includes many important aspects, not the least of which is affordability. CIU’s admission requirements are not similar to those of other traditional universities because CIU gives exemption for prior work experiences. CIU uses the guidelines set by the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) for evaluating Experiential Learning for academic credit. While CIU will accept transfer credits from other institutions, CIU may also accept on the work experience, work-related trainings, seminars, workshops and forums related to your field as valid reasons to challenge courses or to establish unique, directed, study program. In the 21st century, flexibility and relevant work place higher education are the criteria by which working professionals, executives and mature students are selecting their certification paths.
